Mechanical Engineer - Production Team
Location: Kampala, Lake Albert production installation base or other cities in Uganda if required.
Primary function:
• Execute oilfield mechanical equipment management and maintenance

Responsibilities:
• Prepare oilfield mechanic maintenance strategy, organize middle and long term planning implementation.
• In charge of prevent maintenance carry out, follow up and review to ensure it carry out properly as plan
• Organize oilfield critical equipment KPI collection and report; optimize maintenance strategy of critical equipment accordingly.
• In charge of mechanic maintenance, work organization, troubleshooting, to ensure the equipment running normally and stable, reduce unplanned shutdown.
• Execute new oil field mechanical commissioning and start up.
• Collect mechanical related issues left out by engineering and follow up
• Emergency response as per Emergency response plan
• Execute instruction from senior maintenance supervisor
• Coordinate and supervise mechanic related contractor to carry out the work.
• Prepare mechanic budget preparation and supervision implementation.
• Prepare mechanic spares procurement.
• In charge mechanic equipment updating, modification, and record the change.
• Perform other any tasks assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:
• Diploma, degree or above in Mechanical engineering
• At least 3-year experience in Oil & Gas industry related mechanical maintenance and operation, including 1-year experience working on-site.

Knowledge:
• Experience with mechanical maintenance and operation

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
