Job Purpose
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director the successful candidate will collaborate with various departments and lead the team to success. We are looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to contribute to our company’s sales objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long -term client relationships. As a National Sales Manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position. Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships all levels of customers
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
• Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
• Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
• Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
• Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
• Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client’s needs.
• Laisse with marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
• Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
• Develop comprehensive business plans encompassing sales, revenue targets, and expense control.
• Craft and implement effective marketing strategies to maximize unit and gross profits.
• Analyze industry trends and business results to refine strategies and optimize sales of all BPIL products
• Collaborate closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Champion the organization and its products to the market, fostering strong customer relationships.
• Gain a deep understanding of our ideal customers and their needs to tailor product offerings effectively.
Requirements and Skills
• 7-10 years’ experience.
• BSc degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• MBA in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
• Proven work experience as a National Sales Manager in a poultry company.
• Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• An ability to understand and analyses sales performance metrics.
• Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
• Strong communication and team management skills
• Analytical skills with a problem -solving attitude.
• Availability to travel as needed.
• Technical knowledge in Poultry sector.
