Procurement Engineer - Drilling & Completion Team
Location: Kampala, Lake Albert production installation base or other cities in Uganda if required.
Primary function: To be responsible for the basic procurement of KF drilling activities.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare the draft rules, regulations and procedures of procurement management of the project team.
• Assist Procurement Superintendent in preparation of procurement plan, correspondence, presentations and other reports.
• Organize and participate in bidding evaluation, participate in negotiation on procurement contract and complete evaluation report.
• Analyze potential and existing purchasing contracts and recommend modifications and implementation, report to Procurement Superintendent in a timely manner.
• Select contractors with other departments and organize the qualification examination of the contractors following Procurement Superintendent Instruction.
• Conduct training on purchasing processes for drilling and completion engineering groups.
• Analyze, develop, implement and track performance measurement criteria to monitor supplier and procurement's cost reduction efforts.
• Record and archive all the contracts following company related procedures.
• Other duties assigned by higher management.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above in Procurement, Petroleum engineering, planning, management or the related
• At least 5-year related working experience in oil industry.

Knowledge:
• Understand knowledge of purchasing policies, methods and procedures and their use.
• Knowledge of the marketplace, major suppliers and products, and industry dynamics/drivers.
• Ability to provide all features; act on information that augments the customer's ability to realize the potential value to a core product or service.

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
