Background
Inputi is an agro digital marketplace that leverages technology to aggregate demand and supply of genuine farm inputs by farmers and dealers, respectively. After aggregating, Inputi implements a last mile delivery to farms through an integrated digital marketplace across Uganda.

Purpose
The Product Manager will define and build highly engaging and delightful new experience. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with product, engineering, design, finance and executive teams to bring new features to market and develop and grow business opportunities for Inputi and will be reporting to the Head of Technology.

Requirements
• Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes and methodologies. Proficiency in agile development methodologies, user-centered design, and product lifecycle management. Knowledge of programming languages, databases, cloud technologies, and other relevant technical tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with agritech solutions, precision agriculture, IoT, or other relevant technologies is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in product strategy, roadmap planning, and product lifecycle management. Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to inform product decisions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to drive product development.
• Understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and customer-focused strategies.
• Strong project management skills to ensure timely delivery of products and manage resources effectively.

Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Scrum, SDLC, PMP/Prince2/ Project Management Diploma are an added advantage.

Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, software development, or a related field, preferably in the technology industry.
• Proven experience in leading and managing product development teams.
• Proficiency in Project management tools like Jira, Dev Ops
