JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
• Development and enhancement of banking products and services by conducting market research, analyzing customer needs and collaborating with cross functional teams to design and launch innovative solutions that differentiate the bank in the market
• Manage the entire cycle of banking products and services from conceptualisation to launch and ongoing optimization, ensuring they are competitive, profitable and align with overall business strategy.
• Monitor product performance, analyse key performance metrics and make data driven decisions to enhance product profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, identify opportunities, use market insights to inform product strategy, pricing decisions and go-to-market plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards and ensure the products and services comply with relevant regulations and guidelines to mitigate risk and maintain regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including Marketing, Retail Corporate, Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance to design, launch and promote new products and services.

Education and experience required
At least Business degree Finance, Marketing or relevant experience in Statistics, Commerce, Quantitative Economics.
At least three years’ experience in a Retail & Business Banking environment.

Knowledge and skills:
Essential:
• Knowledge of product management cycle.
• Knowledge of Bank products, services and policies including standard tariffs
• A good working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards and related markets
• A thorough knowledge of banks internal departments and procedures as well as risk and rigor requirements
• Proficiency in product development processes
• Detailed understanding of competitor products and services
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
