BACKGROUND:
Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an International independent medical humanitarian Organization that delivers aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from health care.
MSF offers assistance to people based on need irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

MSF is looking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position below for it's Kampala Office - covering operations, research and supply activities in the country.

Job : Project Pharmacy Manager
Duty station : Kampala
Start of work : March 2017 .

Main responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Medical supplies import processing
• Validation of international orders in accordance with national regulations
• Registration and annual renewal of license for MSF storage facilities
•  Initiate and nurture relations with NDA and other relevant nationally affiliated health institutions
• Participate in the process of International Orders (10) and advise on strategies that can facilitate the importation process

Education:

• Degree in Pharmacy (must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda)

Experience:

• Experience in Uganda importation process for medical supplies Competences/Skills:
• Good communication skills
• Multi-tasking and flexibility
• Computer literate with very good knowledge of MS-Office ( excel) .
• Conversant with national regulatory policies and guidelines
