UGANDA HEART INSTITUTE

INVITATION TO BID UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

1. The Uganda Heart Institute has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Provision of Indoor and outdoor cleaning services and management of waste disposal services.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to only local Providers from Uganda as per the PPDA guidelines 2017 issued on 10th March 2017.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX: 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Shillings Only).
   The method of payment will be through the Uganda Heart Institute’s Account Office on Block C Level 2 Mulago National Specialized Hospital.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 11:00 am on 12.02.2025.
   All bids must be accompanied by bid security of UGX: 6,348,917,562 (Six Million Three Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Eighteen and Fifty-Six Only). Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 11:30 am on 12.02.2025.

7. There shall be no pre-bid meeting.
