Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Projects Director to work in Kampala, Uganda.

Reports to: CEO
Department: Projects

Job summary
The Projects Director position is the main point of contact with the company’s key customers and is responsible for managing key projects accounts and maximizing sales opportunities. The Project Director’s responsibilities also include monitoring the Projects team to ensure delivery of quality projects in good time, developing trust and good long term relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition, acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and expanding the relationships with existing projects customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support of business development by working on existing projects and proposing new business avenues.
• Relationship Management by always keeping in touch with projects customers, the company’s Operations Team, Projects Team, Finance Team and O&M to ensure that SLAs are met at all times and project customers’ issues are addressed promptly.
• Working hand in hand with CEO & CFO to ensure receivables are realized on time and no income leakages.
• Ensuring that projects customers keep to their contractual obligations such as bringing up committed sites, payments, keeping to procedures, etc.
• Working closely with CEO and Technical teams on all sales issues, updates, follow ups, etc.
• Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to projects customers in a timely manner.
• Serve as the link of communication between key projects customers and internal teams.
• Resolve any issues and problems faced by projects customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
• Play an integral part in generating new projects that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
• Prepare regular project reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
• Oversee all projects stand up meetings to ensure quality projects service delivery.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To work in accordance with goals & objectives.
• To support projects and initiatives as per instructions from the CEO.
• To work in a flexible way including evenings and occasional weekends.
• To contribute to the development and implementation of the overall departmental ethos/work/aims of the business.
• To share knowledge and expertise with staff.
• Identify new ways of working and proactively manage the challenges of change.
• Proactively suggest ways to streamline operational and sales procedures and processes.
• Take on additional tasks and participate in some projects as per instructions from the CEO.
• Manage workload more efficiently so that focus can be on more value-adding aspects of the role

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• BSc/BA in Business Administration, Project Management, Sales or relevant field.
• PRINCE 2/ Chartered Projects certification desirable.
• 3+ years of proven experience as Key Account Manager in related Sales Management & Processes, Projects Manager position in Telco/GSM/ICT field.
• Experience in providing solutions based on projects customer needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
