Job Description
ACE Uganda team is looking for a diligent and enthusiastic Quality Control and Inventory Specialist to work closely with the Production Supervisor and factory team in Barogal, Nwoya District, Uganda. We’re looking for a motivated, ambitious, and fast learner, an individual who is proactive and flexible in a variety of tasks, and functions they will perform.

Responsibilities
• Ensure products are designed and produced with adherence to legal and safety standards
• Follow quality guidelines and manual set by the company
• Develop innovative and efficient solutions to both quality control and general operational efficiency
• Examine the quality of raw materials that are used in production
• Monitor and evaluate internal production processes
• Evaluate final output of products to determine their quality
• Reject products that fail quality standards, make decision with Production Supervisor to accept or reject defective materials
• Produce weekly and monthly reports on quality standards
• Handle the warehouse operations and management, administrative tasks, procurement, and inventory at the factory
• Offer quality leadership to the Production Supervisor and the factory operation team.
• Help lead factory tours for external visitors

Qualification & Experience
• A degree in a business, engineering, stock and procurement or any other relevant field
• At least 4 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, production or other relevant experience
• Hands on experience in developing production schedules and efficient, Analytical, diligent, compliant, reporting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Program applications is required, other relevant program experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of machinery and electronics
• Positive attitude, self-driven individual
• Ability to handle long-hours on their feet
