Role Overview:
The Resource Modeling Technician supports geologists and engineers by developing and maintaining geological models for mineral resource estimation. This role involves data collection, analysis, and modeling to support exploration and extraction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, and analyze geological data for resource modeling.
• Develop and update 3D geological models using specialized software.
• Support resource estimation and reserve calculations for mining projects.
• Collaborate with exploration teams to validate data and ensure model accuracy.
• Prepare reports and visualizations of resource models for management and stakeholders.
• Maintain laboratory standards and ensure proper documentation of data.
• Assist in field exploration activities, including sample collection and preparation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Geo-sciences, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in resource modeling or geological data analysis.
• Proficiency in geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Datamine).
• Familiarity with data evaluation and interpretation techniques.

• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Proficiency in geological modeling tools.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
