Job Purpose:
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and leading the sales team to meet revenue targets. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring alignment with other departments to achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share within the wheat milling industry.
• Identify and establish relationships with new clients while maintaining and nurturing strong relationships with existing customers.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budgets for management review.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and build new business opportunities.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to the sales team to ensure individual and team targets are met.
• Ensure that customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback are handled promptly and professionally.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in the wheat milling or food manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of sales strategies, market analysis, and customer relationship management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
