Job Summary
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for ensuring reliable product availability and optimizing service levels, inventory, and supply chain for the Ugandan office opened at the beginning of the year.

Goals of the department/position:
• Responsibility for operational readiness and functionality through procurement/provision of necessary tools, operating resources, auxiliary materials or similar.
• Ensuring staff readiness and capacity, taking into account holidays, illness, temporarily increased workload, etc. by influencing flextime, overtime, substitutes/auxiliary staff.
• Provision of materials in the right quantity at the right time in perfect quality.

Tasks:
• Demand planning/scheduling: Setting material master data and forecasts in SAP, as well as processing spontaneous demands for optimal delivery performance.
• Production control: Rough planning of production orders.
• Ensuring on-time availability and inventory optimization.
• Supervision of internal and external KANBAN processes.
• Operative purchasing and processing of international order transactions.
• Active participation in projects: Processing of projects in the SCM area (also cross-divisional).
• Continuous improvement of the disposition processes

Minimum Requirements/ Qualifications
• Completed training as an industrial clerk, business studies with a focus on industry or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the area of material planning or in operative purchasing
• Good SAP knowledge in the MM and PP modules, profound computer skills (MS Office)
• Very good English skills, both spoken and written
