  Job Title: Technical Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager with a proven record of managerial skills. As a Technical Manager you are responsible for ensuring that there is a timely provision of resources and technical infrastructure, adequate maintenance of equipment and infrastructure and to make sure that production management is timely and adequately facilitated, contribute to technical innovations and that maintenance and crop change processes are executed in a (cost) efficient way meeting the set targets and budgets..

  Job Responsibilities:
• Technical infrastructure (hardware); To ensure a (well maintained) technical (hardware) infrastructure is available to support production and back office processes. The technical hardware needs be compliant with strict hygiene protocols, procedures and systems. The indicator to measure performance is internal customer satisfaction. Organizing and executing the maintenance program of the farm. Contribution and advise on the technical investment planning and development.
• Production Preparation; Steering, planning, organizing and executing the planting preparation process. Planning for and making available the required materials and human resources.
• Security; To ensure there is a safe working environment and interest and resources of the farm are being safeguarded. Planning, organizing and steering the security process.
• Managing Third party contractors; Planning, organizing and steering the third parties according to budget and within the financial competency agreements.
• Management & Systems; Making the scheduled reports to directors and organization available. Efficient and effective use of resources. Make the technical department work effectively and efficiently. To ensure timely and correct communication. Making sure the maintenance and construction objectives and performance indicators of team are being met.

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in related field.
• Proven record in managerial skills.
