Job details:
The Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) is a statutory body established in accordance with the Electricity Act, 1999 (Chapter 145, Laws of Uganda). The Act empowers ERA to regulate the Generation, Transmission, Sale, Export, Import and Distribution of electrical energy in Uganda.

The Authority seeks to recruit competent and well-motivated persons to fill vacant positions in its establishment. The positions are contractual, running for an initial five (5) year period, subject to renewal upon satisfactory performance.

Position: Transport Facilitator
Reports to: Administrative Assistant, Chief Executive Office

Job Purpose

• To facilitate the travel of institutional staff and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To facilitate the travels of Staff, Board Membérs and institutional visitors.
  
• To deliver mail and other correspondences to institutional stakeholders.
  
• To maintain the vehicle in good condition.
  
• To ensure cleanliness of ERA vehicle.
  
• To provide support services as shall be required.
  
• Any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications, Experience and Age Limit:

• Must have "O" level certificate with a minimum of a pass in English language.
  
• Must have a valid driving permit.
  
• Should have 5 years driving experience.
  
• Should be between 30 and 45 years old.

• Good interpersonal skills and team-work orientation
  
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
  
• Should be trpstworthy
  
• Should have a polite demeanour
