Job purpose/mission
We are looking for a passionate and customer-oriented individual to join our team at Ntusi Veterinary Shop in Sembabule. In this role, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients and their livestock by providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience. We encourage females to consider this role.

Responsibilities
• ⁠Assist customers in selecting livestock supplies and medications.
• Answer customer questions about livestock products and services offered by local veterinarians.
• ⁠Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
• ⁠Stock shelves and ensure proper inventory levels.
• Process customer payments and transactions.
• Assist with minor administrative tasks (filing, billing).

Qualifications, skills, and experience
• ⁠Experience working in a vet shop, and/or experience as a veterinary extension officer or veterinary receptionist.
• ⁠Passion for livestock care.
• ⁠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• ⁠Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ⁠Basic computer literacy.
• ⁠Excellent organizational skills.
• ⁠Ability to work well under pressure.
• ⁠Creativity and problem-solving aptitude.
• Fluency in one or more of the following languages: Runyankole, Rutooro, Runyooro, Rukiga.
• ⁠Diploma in Animal Health and Management, Livestock Health Sciences, or a related field.
• ⁠Must have a license with at least UBV.
