JOB DETAILS:

Are you an experienced farmer connector with an existing list of farmers? Bio Bloom Uganda is looking for dedicated Village Agents in Bushenyi, Ibanda, Isingiro, Kamwenge, Ntungamo, Sheema, and Mbarara districts to expand our reach and support smallholder farmers with quality biofertilizer solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Farmer Engagement & Sales Generation: Identify and engage farmers to promote and distribute Bio Bloom’s biofertilizers.
• Market Research: Gather insights on farmer needs, soil health, and market trends to improve product adoption.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers to ensure long-term satisfaction and increased productivity.
• Field Demonstrations & Trainings: Organize and lead field demonstrations to showcase the benefits of biofertilizers.
• Product Distribution: Ensure last-mile delivery of Bio Bloom products to farmers within your assigned district.
• Reporting & Accountability: Provide regular updates on sales, farmer feedback, and market opportunities.

Requirements:
• Existing farmer network: Must have an active list of farmers and be well-connected in the agricultural community.
• Experience in sales, marketing, or agricultural extension is an added advantage.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills to effectively engage farmers and local stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting set targets.
• Basic smartphone proficiency for digital data collection and reporting.
