• Perform feasibility studies, system sizing, and optimization of water systems, ensuring sustainability and energy efficiency.
• Provide technical support and ensure high-quality standards during the installation, operation, and maintenance of water and solar systems.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, health and safety standards, and best practices in all water-related operations.
• Create detailed project documentation, including design plans, specifications, and progress reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in water engineering, with a proven track record in underground water surveying, drilling, and solar water pumping projects.
• Bachelors degree in Water Resource Engineering or related.
• UIPE (Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers) registration or equivalent is mandatory.
• Strong experience in designing water systems, including feasibility studies, system planning, and integration with solar technologies.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in engineering design software, including AutoCAD, and other water management tools.
• Strong knowledge of water regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental best practices.
• Experience in large-scale solar water pumping solutions, particularly integrating solar with water systems, is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems, especially solar energy and its applications in water management.
• Experience in working with solar smart grids, distributed energy systems, and off-grid solutions.
