Accounting and Finance Officer

Duty Station
Busia Head Office with regular travels to Soroti Branch and Namayingo.

Overall duties and responsibilities
To maintain and implement financial reporting that complies with the international Accounting standards in line with organizationpolices and procedure.

Minimum requirements;

•  A degree in Finance, Accounting , B.Com or Business Administration
  
•  Candidate must have 3 to 5 years relevant work experience, with a minimum of 2 years as manager or supervisor
  
•  Good knowledge of computer software and applicability of accounting packages
  
•  Good analytical and interpretational skills of financial reports.
  
•  Membership to a Professional Accounting body like CPA or ACCA an added advantage
  
•  Good oral and written communication skills.
  
•  Experience in micro-finance andfor commercial banking is highly desirable.
