We are looking for a professionally confident, selfmotivated individual, who is also a committed team player to strengthen our staff capacity by filling the following vacant position.

Job Title: Finance Manager - Reporting
Reports to: Chief Finance Officer

Job Purpose:
To manage and oversee Company's financial procedures, plans and budgets/investments to ensure appropriate financial framework is in place for better decision making, growth opportunities and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee recording of all financial transactions, analyses and systems
• Manage the treasury function
• Oversee the overall risk management processes for the company including analyses of their financial impact
• Tax Affairs Management by ensuring full compliance with all tax legislation including but not limited to statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, WHT, Corporation Tax)
• Implement controls systems to ensure cost efficiency and management of risks
• Support financial planning and analysis to ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports in compliance with IFRS and other stakeholder requirements
• Manage statutory and other audits
• Implement recommendations by the Board and the Auditors on matters of finance and accounts
• Manage development of the team and support capacity building of the team Management of Intercompany balances and transactions

Skills and Qualifications
• Registered Accountant with The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration (Finance), Commerce, Statistics, or any other associated discipline
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in an accounting role with at least 3 years at managerial level
• Familiarity with Ugandan tax legislation is an added advantage
• Experience in using SAP and Microsoft excel is required
• Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
• High level of integrity and dependability
• Strong sense of urgency and results-oriented
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
