We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join the team. This role is pivotal in managing vehicle maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing fleet performance, and reducing operational costs while maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventative Fleet maintenance schedules and ensure timely inspections for routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake checks, tire rotations etc.
  • Ensure the functionality and reliability of company fleet, engines and mechanical systems at all times
  • Monitor and analyse fuel consumption, vehicle usage, and operational costs to maximize efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • Assist in the acquisition of parts and equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance
  • Handle incident reports and insurance claims for any vehicle accidents
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle service history, insurance, fuel usage, and other fleet-related data.
  • Ensure the fleet is parked in the company designated arears when not operating • Ensure all fleet vehicles meet road safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct safety inspections and provide detailed reports on vehicle performance and potential improvements monthly
  • Ensure driver compliance with company policies and legal driving standards.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities for proper tracking and maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and supplies
  • Ensure Vehicles are fuelled at all times when needed and fuel cards are topped up in time
  • Work closely with the Reservations and TUSC team to organize itineraries for guests, staff movements and pick ups

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in fleet management or logistics operations. (Hospitality is an added advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet management systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
