 BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING
Invitation to bid for the Procurement of One Double Cabin/
CEPPAD WN/FHN/SUPLS/2025/0001.

  1. CEPAD WESTNILE has allocated funds to be used for the Supply and Delivery of Double Cabin.
  2. The Entity invites sealed Bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supply.
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and CEPAD WEST NILE Procurement and Disposal Policy.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at CEPAD WESTNILE HEAD OFFICE, Anua OR reach us through rfn@cepadwestnile.org from 8:00am to 5:30pm on working days from Monday to Friday.
  5. Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders online or hardcopy upon submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of non-refundable fee of UCX 50,000 on A/C Community Empowerment for Peace and Development, West Nile, 3100085588, Centenary Rural Development Bank.
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address above on or before 8th MAY 2025.
    (5:00PM, East African Local Time), All Bids must be accompanied by bid security and performance declaration forms provided in the bid document which must be valid up to JULY 30th 2025. Late proposals shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend.

CEPAD-WN is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering peace, sustainable development, and community empowerment in the West Nile region of Uganda. The procurement of the Double Cabin is part of the organization's efforts to enhance operational efficiency and support field activities, including:

  • Peacebuilding Initiatives: Transporting staff and resources to conflict-affected communities to facilitate dialogue, reconciliation, and training programs.
  • Development Projects: Delivering agricultural inputs, tools, and materials to rural areas to support livelihood programs.
  • Emergency Response: Ensuring timely mobility for rapid response teams during humanitarian crises or natural disasters.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Enabling field visits to assess project impact and community needs.

The successful bidder will contribute directly to CEPAD-WN's mission by providing a reliable vehicle that meets the organization's standards for durability, safety, and suitability for rugged terrain.
