PREQUALIFICATION OF SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS FOR THE YEARS 2021/22
Habitat for Humanity Uganda is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) whose efforts are geared towards contributing to the elimination of poverty housing in the world. Since 1982, Habitat for Humanity Uganda has empowered over 24,000 tamilies to access decent and affordable homes. In Uganda, our work is promoted through four key interventions, Housing Microfinance that supports low-income earners especially those working in the informal sector to undertake incremental micro home loans, Vulnerable Group Housing that provides fully subsidized social housing support for vulnerable rural households, especially women, Orphans, and Vulnerable Children; Financial inclusion program seeks partnerships with private companies to provide and develop inclusive products for all income levels of people especially the low-income earners and Urbanization program that addresses issues on the New Urban Agenda such as housing, slum upgrading, and sustainable environmental management For more information please go to: www.habitat.ug
Habitat for Humanity Uganda intends to pre quality eligible service providers for construction works for the years 2021/22. Interested eligible Contractors are invited to apply for Pre-qualification for construction works they wish to provide during the financial years 2021/22
CATEGORY A. CONSTRUCTION WORKS.
1. Provision of construction works and renovation services (all construction works e.g. HFHU Main House, latrine and installation of water tank including painting services) in different regions where Habitat works (Kumi, Mayuge and Kabarole) and any other Districts as deemed necessary
Habitat for Humanity invites suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for the above prequalification exercise for construction works.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in Habitat for Humanity Procurement Policy and is open to all bidders within Uganda.

The complete document should be hand delivered at the reception after paying a nonrefundable fee of 100,000/- before close of business Thursday 9 July 2020, by 5:00pm
Bids will be opened internally at Habitat for Humanity Uganda on 13 July 2020.Bids that fail to meet the minimum set requirements and deadline shall not be considered, HFHU reserves the right to reject any or all the bids without any reason
