REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF SERVICES FOR
RECYCLING OBSOLETE BANK RECORDS
Centenary Bank is a leading commercial Bank serving over 1.8 million customers with services that can be accessed across our 74 branches and 181 Visa enabled ATMs, over 4,000 agents, mobile and online banking. The Bank is seeking contract services of a competent company with capacity and infrastructure to recycle obsolete Records.
Background & Overview of the Assignment Centenary Bank is adopting a strategy of managing obsolete Records by recycling as part of its environmental stewardship and social responsibility mandate. The Bank operates a Centralized Records Centre and averagely has 3 tons of obsolete paper annually that need to be recycled. It is against this that the Bank seeks services of a company to assist recycling the Bank records as per the Bank's Records retention policy in place.
The expression of interest should clearly indicate the following:
The method of recycling the company intends to use clearly detailing the whole process,
The Rate at which you are willing to pay for per kilogram of paper (Kg).
The mode of transportation and storage of the documents from the Bank premises to the destination of recycling.
The supervision process by both the company and nominated Bank staff including the timelines on completion of the process
The physical address of your company, certification from National Environment management (NEMA) to conduct the above services.
Description of machinery and qualifications of staff to conduct the process.
Any other terms of the contract you think the Bank should be advised to comply.
The exercise will be expected to be conducted with high levels of integrity, confidentiality and the Bank will not accept liability for loss or exposure of its information to the public once the contracted vendor is in receipt of the records.
Clearly labeled and sealed bids marked "Proposals for recycling/destruction of the Bank's Obsolete records must be delivered by hand and registered at the Corporate Service Division (Procurement Unit) to the address below by Thursday, 23rd July 2020 by 10:30am. Thereafter, there will be a public Bid opening on the same day at 11:00am at Mapeera House 7th Floor in the presence of the bidders' and or their representatives who choose to attend.
