Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. In Uganda, we are currently seeking to recruit a Settlement Clerk based at our Rwenzori Plant.
As a Settlement Clerk, you will report directly to the Team Leader Warehouse.
Key Purpose Statement
The primary role of the Settlement Clerk is to ensure real-time and accurate capture of all data into Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure all data is captured in real-time and is up to date.
- Capture and analyze data from source documents into the system.
- Compare data with source documentation or re-enter data in a verification format to detect errors.
- Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
- Locate and correct data entry errors and report them to supervisors.
- Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
- Store completed documents in appropriate locations.
- Transfer details from separate journals to general ledgers and data processing sheets.
- Perform filing and document management as per agreed standards.
Qualifications.
- Minimum requirement: Degree in Warehouse & Logistics Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in FMCGs.
- Added Advantage: Experience as a settlement clerk.
Competencies.
- Exceptionalaccuracy & attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer Service Oriented.
- Advanced computer skills able to capture, analyse, and verify data.
- Proactive, trustworthy, assertive, accountable, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Familiarity with common logistics principles and documentation
