We pass on tried and true case examples to enable the farmers increase production and profitability by cutting unnecessary costs. We teach them how to harvest quality honey with no impurities, packaging for the competitive market place that is riddled with imported brands and exceeding customer expectations through prompt feedback. We work with a number of experienced professionals in the industry. Our portfolio of past clients includes entities like Oxfam, PSFU to mention but a few.
World of Bees (U) Limited is a one stop Centre for Apiculture in Uganda. It is a company limited by shares fully owned by The Uganda National Apiculture Development Organization (TUNADO) on behalf of her members. TUNADO is legally incorporated with registrar of companies as a company limited by guarantee (Certificate No. 62239) representing all beekeepers in Uganda.
TUNADO is the national apex body recognized by Government of Uganda and mandated by members and stakeholders to coordinate all value chain actors in apiculture. TUNADO is governed by the General Assembly (AGM) which is the supreme decision making organ. The AGM appoints auditors and elects the Board
to oversee and provide strategic direction while the Board appoints the Management to execute the day to day activities on behalf of the Board. WoB’s main purpose is to create market on behalf of the members of TUNADO who may not have access and also work is and exportation hub for beeswax and other beekeeping products. We now have two branches of WoB in Kampala one is at Kira House,room 26,Pilkington road then the new one at Kingdom
