JOB DETAILS:
This position reports directly to the Head of Risk and will be based at Head Office.
Role of the Job:
The role is accountable for managing all of the projects in the department to ensure proper reporting and documentation as per the service level agreement.
Key Result Areas:
1. Prepare and share daily, weekly, monthly and annual project reports for both the external and internal stakeholders use.
2. Maintain a well updated schedule/file for all projects that are being managed in the department.
3. Develop a training plan for Credit officers and other internal staff to equip them with necessary skills to ensure that projects are well managed.
4. Regularly communicate to Branches on their expectations in line with the different projects in the department.
5. Work closely with the business department and ensure that emerging credit related projects that require reporting are taken up and stakeholder relationships are managed.
6. Perform, promote and maintain the highest standards of customer service in order to maximize returns from exist from existing relationships.
7. Co-ordinate stakeholder visits and Audits of the projects that are managed in the department as and when needed.
8. Working with credit supervisors ensure that credit documentation standards as laid down in the credit policy and stakeholder agreements are met at all times.
9. Regularly review the business and market environment related to projects and liaise with stakeholders for recommended changes in line with the bank’s objectives and the industry best practice.
10. Any other duties as may be assigned by your immediate supervisor from time to time
Minimum educational and technical competence requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field from a recognized university.
2. Must have critical thinking, analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
3. Good verbal and written communication skills
4. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Banking or similar environment.
5. Advanced, computer literacy, numerical skills and statistical skills.
6. Team player, ability to work under pressure and in position to exercise excellent judgment.
7. The ability to communicate clearly in a professional manner is deemed essential.
8. Ability to build functioning working relationships
9. Takes clear accountability, and focuses on delivery of broader corporate goals.
10. Ability to take decisions and progress towards goals in conditions of uncertainty.
11. Ability to demonstrate positive image and up hold FTB values.
12. Must be a person of integrity
