JOB DETAILS:

A part-time role of On-Line Learning Teaching Assistant will support a small home school of five students using distance learning augmented by on-site coaching and student support. The school uses a combination of the “Common Core” curriculum from the United States and Uganda’s primary education curriculum for Science and Social Studies (as presented by Longhorn publishers).

This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain experience within the growing field of distance learning. He / she will be working with a seasoned education consultant from the US. This small school maintains a very pleasant learning environment with excellent facilities and equipment.

This position is a part-time, temporary contract position with the potential for contract extension and expansion after the initial training and probationary period. Initially, the On-Line Learning Teaching Assistant will work two days each week (Saturday/Sunday). He/she will travel to Muduuma Friday evening and depart Sunday evening.

This initial probationary contract is for 6 weeks. It will pay 50,000/week for 16 hrs. work, provide private room accommodation for two nights and meals on Saturday and Sunday. There is no transportation reimbursement for this position.
