About Kempton Junior School Kempton Junior School is a modern, dynamic and high quality Nursery and Primary School located in Bunamwaya, Wakiso District that seeks to create real impact in education through providing high quality, practical and affordable education. .

We are looking for self-driven professional teachers who have attributes of growing a dynamic school to greater heights. The school offers a foundation in computer application during instruction in various subjects. Therefore, you must have hands on experience in the use of computers in preparation of audio-visual materials.

1. Qualification and expertise
a) Ability to teach any class at ease.
b) A minimum of diploma in primary education. Other relevant qualifications are an added advantage.
c) Must be registered with Ministry of Education
d) At least 6 years of stable working experience in a primary school

2. Planning
a) Competent in the thematic and national curriculum.
b) Competent in ICT
3. Lesson delivery
a) Proven learner academic transformation and achievement of targets.
b) Effective classroom management.
c) Embedding and encouraging higher order thinking along with teaching foundation skills, Proactive classroom management

4. Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation
a) Ability to set high quality assessments
b) Ability to accurately judge learner’s responses
c) Ability to set remedial activities to address any content gaps

5. Guidance and counseling
a) Culturally sensitive, having a positive regard to students and colleagues.
b) Effective discipline and classroom management skills
Leadership
a) Ability to set high class standards and attain them.
b) Creative and innovative in designing class tools that aim at producing learners with sound values/morals.
c) Good communication, presentation skills and command of the English language (spoken and written).
NB. Teachers with a good command in mathematics and English subjects have an added advantage.
