Ankole Western University ( AWU ) is a private Christian Institution founded by the Anglican Diocese of West Ankole, Church of Uganda and licensed by the National Council for Higher
Education.

Location: AWU is located in the South Western Region of Uganda, Kabwohe Sheema Municipality, and 32Km along Mbarara-Kasese Road.
