JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The Assistant Accountant will provide financial management support, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and The Salvation Army’s financial policies.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow statements.
• Process payments, track expenses, and ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist with audits and financial reviews.
• Support staff in budget management and grant compliance.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining records.
• Manage office supplies, budgets, and reimbursement as needed.
• Maintain the organization inventory and management of Stores.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in accounting for donor-funded projects.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
