Location: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary
• Responsible for generating sales using various techniques.
• Improve market position and achieve financial growth.
• Meet short-term sales targets and develop long-term strategies for market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify new business opportunities (markets, trends, customers, products, services).
2. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
3. Understand company products, competitors, and industry positioning.
4. Generate leads and pitch products/services.
5. Develop quotes and proposals.
6. Prepare and review sales contracts.
7. Transition new clients to the account management team smoothly.
8. Ensure excellent client experiences by meeting/exceeding their needs.
Education/Experience Requirements
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Business Development Manager or Sales Executive with proven sales results.
Skills and Abilities
• Proficiency in cold calling, networking, relationship building, and negotiation.
• Strong time management, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Superior presentation skills, innovative thinking, and assertiveness.
