JOB DETAILS:

Position: 2 Electrical Technicians
Location: Pajule, Pader District

Qualification
Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering; Diploma in Ginning Engineering

Desirable attributes:

• Good technical and hands-on skills.
  
• Willingness and eagerness to learn by practical and hands-on training.
  
• Ability to determine preventive maintenance/repairs and trouble-shooting.
  
• Ability to present adequate working papers to enable the supervisor to evaluate work done and matters to be reported.
  
• Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times including observing the confidential nature of the engineering profession.
  
• Highly organised with strong organisational and planning skills, ability to prioritize tasks and deliver assessments within short deadlines.
  
• Ability to analyse and interpret large amounts of data and to issue timely reports where required.
  
• Good IT skills.
  

Job Description

• Planning of scheduled maintenance and annual overhaul of electrical system and equipments for the seed processing plant.
  
• Maintaining of repair, maintenance and overhaul records of the electrical system and equipment.
  
• Supervision and monitoring of electrical works and installations at the seed processing plants
  
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  
• Keep inventory of equipment, machinery, spare parts and tools for the seed processing plant.
  
• Supervision and monitoring of production to meet desired quality parameters and targets set.
  
• Maintaining of production records.
  
• Supervision of engineering and technical staff
  
• Willingness to learn the local dialect (Luo) is an added advantage.
  
• Any other duties as may be assigned by Management.
