Job details:
ADD International in partnership with the Gulu Disabled Peoples Union, Source of the Nile Union of Persons with Albinism, and Uganda National Action on Physical Disabilities has received a grant from the Big Lottery Fund to implement the Sustainable Livelihoods for People with Disabilities project in Jinja, Kampala, Omoro and Wakiso districts for a period of 24 months.

The partnersare therefore recruiting staff with relevant qualifications for the following post:

2 Field Officers

The field officers will be based in jinja and Omoro districts respectively. The officers will be responsible for coordinating project activities, capacity building of ADD international partners, coordinating stakeholders and representing ADD international in relevant forums.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess a degree in humanities, social sciences, community or development studies from a recognised university! institute and three years‘ experience in programmes related to livelihoods and promotion of rights of vulnerable people. Persons with disabilities (especially women with disabilities) with the above relevant or equivalent qualifications with demonstrated knowledge and experience are encouraged to apply.

The duration of the post is 24 months.
