The Aga Khan University (AKU) is a private, not-for-profit, international University first established in 1983, with 11 campuses and teaching sites in 8 countries. Since 2001, AKU has offered academic programmes in nursing, medicine and education for and in countries in East Africa.
The University invites applications for the following position:.

2 Senior Faculty
Reporting to the Academic Head, thc incumbentwill primarily be involved in teaching, research and practice in our programmes. A key focus of this role is contribution to research capacity buildin among faculty and contribution to the development and approval of programmes to Masters level. S/ he also be expected to serve in the University’s academic committees and participate in multidisciplinary activities. In addition, they will be responsible for quality assurance, curriculum development and be actively involved in contributing to the nursing profession nationally, regionally and internationally.

Qualification
• A licants should possess a master's degree in Nursing.
• Hpghe should be eurrenfly registered with the Ugarrdifiiurses and Midwives Council.
• Minimum of 3years experience of classroom and clinical teaching experience at an institution of higher learning, demonstrate expertise in modern ed and scholarship of learning.
• Proven research skills with commitment to researcli ariil;r(i%lication and ability to mentor junior faculty and build research capacity within the school.
• Post graduate diploma in medical education.
• Publications in peer reviewed Journals.
