JOB DETAILS:

Nakasongola Pentecostal church is engaged in Christian Child Development Ministry targeting the neediest of the needy children in Nakasongola region. Application are invited from BORN AGAIN Christian professionals who confess and demonstrate the Lordship of Jesus Christ for ministry work in Buruli Child Development Centre. The church seeks to recruit two (2) child workers with:

Requirements

• Be a Christian model for children, their families and communities.
  
• Facilitating the need identification process
  
• Assist with implementing holistic child development programs.
  
• Ensure timeliness and quality of child to sponsor correspondence, child information document and materials
  
• Conduct sponsor tour and visits
  
• Being in charge of child program attendance monitoring
  
• Management of all program Key Result Areas
  
• Attend to other tasks assigned byProject leadership
  
• Involvement in the Local Church Programs in support of Christian ministry in the community
  

Qualifications.

• Age limit 22- 35 years
  
• Proven integrity in personal and public life in line with Christian value
  
• Must be a mature devoted born again Christian
  
• Experience with OVC is added advantage
  

Other requirements

A. CDO – Health

• A clinical offi cer, minimum of certifi cate/ diploma in clinic medicine in public health/Dentist and Registered Nurse Enrolled Nurse or equivalent qualifi cation
  
• Skills in counselling and knowledge in HIV/AIDS interventions will be added advantage.
  

B. CDO – SPONSOR/ DONOR MINISTRY

• Must have at least a diploma in any of the following, Social work and Administration, Social sciences, Development Studies, Communication, Records management, Theology and other related disciplines.
  
• Formal training in counselling and child development will be an added advantage.

Being a resident worker in Nakasongola Geographical area.
