   Role Overview:
   The Porter provides logistical support in health facilities by transporting goods, patients, and maintaining cleanliness, ensuring efficient operations within the health department.
   • Transport patients, medical supplies, and equipment within the health facility.
   • Maintain cleanliness of the facility premises, including sweeping and waste disposal.
   • Assist in setting up rooms for health activities, such as clinics or meetings.
   • Deliver messages, documents, or items as directed by health staff.
   • Ensure proper handling and storage of facility equipment and materials.
   • Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
   • Perform other duties as assigned.
   Qualifications and Experience:
   • A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a pass in English.
   • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
   • Physical fitness to handle manual tasks.
   • Basic understanding of health facility operations.
   Competencies:
   • Logistical support and manual handling.
   • Cleanliness and hygiene maintenance.
   • Reliability and teamwork.
   • Basic communication skills.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacancies which exist in Kaberamaido District Local Government. Applicants should forward their applications in triplicate on ESC Form 3 (for applicants in the teaching service) or PSC Form 3 (Revised 2008) for the rest of applicants and addressed to:

The closing date for receiving applications is Friday, 23/05/2025 at 5:00pm.

The application forms are obtainable from:

• Public Service Commission offices located at Farmers House, Parliament Avenue, Kampala
• Any District Service Commission offices countrywide

The applications should bear the title of the post applied for and the Reference Number.

Applicants should attach:

• 3 sets of certified photocopies of their academic certificates
• Transcripts and other professional documents relevant to the post
