JBN Consults and Planners is a private consulting firm registered in Uganda that provides integrated environmental, engineering and development consulting services in the Great Lakes Region. JBN has a demonstrable track record in the delivery of numerous development projects across a broad spectrum of sectors. In order to strengthen its capacity and broaden its service portfolio. the Company now seeks to recruit high calibre professionals for the following key position:
Vacancy: 3 Senior Environmental Consultants
The Senior Environmental Consultant shall manage the delivery of quality environmental consultancy services to our clients. ln addition to the opportunities tor new services and client development, the Consultants are expected to apply their expertise in the management of projects, mentor staff, and provide senior direction for projects. The Consultants are expected to prepare work plans, mobilize project teams, assign tasks and ensure compliance with work scope and timely completion of tasks..

The candidate must meet the qualifications below:
• At least a master's degree in environmental science, natural sciences, environmental engineering or related fields;
• He/she must have 8 years’ experience in leading and managing multiple environmental consultancy assignments;
• Proven experience in preparation of complex technical and financial proposals; and
• Proven experience in Environment Assessments, Environmental Monitoring and Audits, and addressing safeguards requirements of key development agencies.
