JOB DETAILS:
The Pentecostal Churches of Uganda ( PCU ), Kalyamenvu United Pentecostal Church and Pentecostal Assemblies of God invite applications from suitably qualified mature born-again Christians to serve in Child Ministry in their churches at Kigumba, Bweyale, Kihonda and Kalyamenvu in Masindi, Kiryandongo and Lyantonde Districts.
Job Title: 4 Project Directors
The Project Director is the team leader of the project staff. He/ She is expected to offer knowledge, guidance and technical skills to children, project committee, parents, fellow project workers and church leadership in areas of spiritual development, project planning and budgeting, comprehensive healthcare, social and skills development and academic advancement..

 

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is a strong Christian witness.
• Serves as an advocate for children and their caregivers who live in poverty and are not able to speak out for themselves.
• Directs the day to day mnning of the activities of the project for effective implementation of the program.
• Assist the Overseer in implementing the standards of the partnership agreement as the lead technical staff within the partnership.
• Customer service orientation.
• Working ability to apply and adapt established accounting procedures to a variety of accounting transactions, problem and situations.
• Good written communication skills and strong verbal communication skills. Intermediate English ability is preferred. 8. Skills in project planning and management will be an added advantage.
• Formal training in counseling and child development will be an added advantage.
• Previous supervisory experience desired.
