JOB DETAILS:
The college is a Public Agricultural Tertiary Institution located in Luwero District — Central Uganda. It would like to recruit suitable persons (Ugandan) for the under described position:
SOURCE OF FUNDS: Non-Tax Revenue

JOB TITLE: Watchmen (GC/1801)

Salary Scale: U8 (Public senrice scale)
Report To: Head Security
TERMS: Two YEAR CONTRACT renewable upon satisfactory performance and availability of funds

Job Purpose:
To keep the College property and inhabitants safe

Duties and Responsibilities

• Take security care of all property and persons in the college.
  
• Keep Law and order in the college and its surroundings
  
• Maintain the register book in the department Allocated
  
• Detectand prevent crime
  
• Ensure that all premises are checked and closed daily
  
• Any other duties assigned from time to time by the head of security department or Principal.
  
• Patrolling in and around the college
  

Qualifications and experience:

• At least a Uganda Certificate of Education or its equivalent
  
• Duly registered citizen and in possession of a National Identity Card
  
• A certified copy of academic documents from your former school
  
• A letter of recommendation from your area LC
  
• A training certificate in providing security from a competent institution experience of serving in an institution with a good reputation is an added advantage
  

Work competences

• Strong and able bodied person
  
• Can communicate in good English
  
• Ready to work during day and night shifts
