We are looking for a qualified, experienced and result-oriented professional to fill the following vacancy.

Job Title: AD OPERATIONS (AD OPS) SPECIALIST
Reports to: GM- Commercial
Department: Commercial

JOB PURPOSE:

The Ad Operations Specialist is responsible for the setup, management, optimization, and reporting of digital advertising campaigns across the NMGU's digital platforms using Google Ad Manager (GAM) and Social Media tools. This role ensures the seamless execution of direct and programmatic ad campaigns while optimizing website inventory to maximize indirect Google digital revenue. The specialist will also generate post-campaign reports for clients and assist in technical implementations such as third-party tag setups, landing page creation, and email newsletter development.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and monitor digital ad campaigns in Google Ad Manager (GAM), ensuring proper targeting, pacing, and delivery.
• Work with third-party ad servers and tag management solutions to implement programmatic campaigns.
• Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues, resolving discrepancies in ad serving and reporting.
• Ensure proper ad placements while maintaining user experience and website performance.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to BEs to improve click-through rates (CTR), view ability, and engagement.
• Optimize website inventory to increase indirect revenue through Google Ads and programmatic advertising.
• Use Google Analytics and other tracking tools to analyze audience behavior and improve campaign performance.
• Manage ad inventory to ensure optimal fill rates and e CPMs.
• Implement and troubleshoot third-party ad tags, pixels, and tracking codes using basic JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Assist in the development of landing pages and email newsletters for digital advertising campaigns.
• Work closely with BEs developers and design teams to ensure ad placements follow best practices.
• Generate after-campaign reports for clients, summarizing key performance metrics, insights, and recommendations.
• Provide monthly performance reports on website ad inventory, programmatic revenue, and direct campaigns.
• Use data insights to enhance campaign strategy and effectiveness.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to support digital advertising pitches and proposals.
• Coordinate with clients and agencies to ensure smooth campaign execution.
• Support the internal team with training on Digital Advertising trends.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in digital ad operations or a related role.
Prior experience working with publishers, digital media, or Digital advertising Agencies

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in Google Ad Manager (GAM) for campaign trafficking, reporting, and optimization.
• Experience with Google Analytics, YouTube Admin, and other Social Media tools
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to handle ad tag implementation and landing page creation.
• Understanding of programmatic advertising, real-time bidding (RTB), and Google AdSense.
