African Evangelistic Enterprise (AEE) is an inter» denominational Evangelical Christian humanitarian not-for-profit NGO that has operated in Uganda since 1981. AEE has embarked on the implementation of a new 5-year Child Centred Community Development Program in Arivu Sub-county, Arua District. AEE Uganda now wishes to invite qualified candidates to apply for the positions listed below

Job Title: Accounts Assistant (1):
Reporting to: Project Coordinator

Job Purpose: The position holder will maintain sound financial planning, management and reporting systems for the Child Centered Community Development Project. Duty Station: Arivu Sub-County, Arua District Qualification, Experience and Skills: The ideal candidate must have: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field, and at least 3 years‘ experience in a busy NGO environment. Familiarity with NGO accounting is a must, and the successful candidate must possess high level planning and coordination skills, be self-driven and able to work with minimum supervision. The job requires strong analytical, wntten/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Advanced computer literacy and proven knowledge and experience with accounting packages e.g. QuickBooks is essential.
