JOB DETAILS:

Mukono Diocese is a Faith Based Organization and an integral part of the Province of the Church Of Uganda. It is mandated to inspire and enhance the preaching and spreading the gospel while harmonizing such divinity with community development. We also leverage on having a holistically developed and exemplary life that Glorifies God that reflects Christ's love and teaching to all people. The Diocese envisions becoming an integrated, developed and largely self-sustaining Diocese with its followers substantially developed spiritually, socially, economically, intellectually and Health wise. Mukono Diocese is therefore mandated to harmonize the spread of the Gospel with organizational and community development. Mukono Diocese is intending to recruit 12 persons to work as Archdeaconry Accounts Clerks.

Major roles and responsibilities of the candidates include among others.
• Ensures that every cash received is banked before spending.
• Manages the Petty Cash Float.
• Prepares the General Cash Book.
• Prepares the annual Budget.
• Ensures that there is proper financial management in the archdeaconry.
• Oversee the accounts books of parishes in the archdeaconry

REPORTS TO: Diocesan Accounts Assistant

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in any Accounts related course.
