JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities:
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Process invoices, receipts, and expense forms in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial statements.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance standards in Uganda.
