Matunda Hub is an early stage social enterprise based in Soroti town, Eastern Uganda with a mission to support rural youth to develop (fruit) agribusinesses in Uganda through agribusiness incubation. Applications are hereby invited from eligible persons to fill the following vacant positions based in Soroti – the fruit basket of Uganda

Position: Agribusiness Coach

We are looking for a full-time Agribusiness coach who is responsible for value chain development and building capacity of youth and farmers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement agriculture and agribusiness related activities
• Mentor and train agribusiness incubatees and learners
• Identify and establish opportunities/ networks for market development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Agribusiness, Agriculture or related field
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience
• Well-connected to agricultural stakeholders in Teso sub-region
• Experience in coaching and mentoring of farmers and young adults
• Organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Fluency in English and Ateso and/ or Swahili required
