UWESO is an indigenous N0N-Governmental Organization registered with the Uganda NGO Board and is committed to improving the quality of life of orphans and other vulnerable children.

Being a consortium partner on USAID’s BETTER OUTCOMES for Children and Youth in Eastern and Northern Uganda, UWESO currently is implementing an Economic Strengthening component of BETTER OUTCOMES Project to reach out to 60,000 vulnerable households in 20 districts in Eastern and Northern, the USAID funded Districts through Livelihoods and other pathways over a five year period (2015-2020) .Village Savings and Loans Association (VSLA) Methodology, Business Skills
Training, Financial Literacy Education and Bank Linkage are key interventions under the economic strengthening component.
