MCP Recruitment and Services is a company operating within the Mining- and Manufacturing Industries. We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Company, based in Kampala.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant General Manager Process. The Assistant General Manager Process will be responsible for supporting the overseeing of day-to-day operations of an ENA grain based Plant. Implementing productivity strategies, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, they will provide support to the General Manager and collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
This person will also be responsible for supply chain regarding the Plant, ensuring commercial matters run smoothly.
The successful encumbent will spend 3 days on site at the plant and 3 days at HQ in Kampala, overseeing supply chain matters.

Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of the Ethanol industry and its processes
• Experience in managing day-to-day operations and implementing productivity strategies as well as experience in commercial matters
• Familiarity with safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Bachelor's degree in related field BTech Engineering Chemical/Mechanical or BSc, PLUS Post graduate diploma in Fermentation and Alcohol Technology
• Previous experience in similar Industry of 16 to 20 years is required
