Job details:
Our client a Commercial Bank operating in Uganda since 1995 with a sizeable branch network is now recruiting to till the position of Head of Credit. The successful individual will join a team of highly talented resource pool working to move the Bank to even greater heights.

Reports to : Assistant Managing Director

Main Roles
To provide leadership and overall oversight in the execution of the Credit department day to day activities and ensuring that the prudent lending practices are compliant to regulations and within best practice principles

Relevant Academic and Professional Qualifications
A good bachelor‘s degree in Economics, commerce or business and other related fields, Special qualifications in investment and credit

appraisal and/or a Masters degree are an added advantage.

Relevant Working Experience Required
5 - 8 years hands-on experience, 5 of which should be at Managerial level in Credit. Thorough understanding of typical credit policies, processes and the Financial Institutions Act (FIA) is a mandatory requirement.
