JOB DETAILS:
Our client, Horyal Investments Holding Company Ltd has commenced the process to operationalize á leading new sugar factory at AtiakUganda ,East Africa. The Factory, jointly owned by the Government of Republic of Uganda ,with annual production capacity(APC). 60,000 Tonnes of granular sugar seeks to recruit competent persons for the following position.
Job Title: Assistant Mill Engineer
Reports to: Mill Engineer
Purpose:
To assist the Mill engineer with the proper functioning and operation of the mechanical engineering plant for the production process throughout the shift. .

Job Responsibilities: Not Specified

Specific knowledge & Skills:
• In-depth knowledge in mill operation welding
• Fitting and rigging, use and application of lubricants
• Mechanical maintenance procedures
• Dismantling
• Overhauling and assembling of machines
• Good analytical and quick fault detection skills
• Good supervisory skills
• Good training and teaching skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Report writing skills.

Required Education qualification:
• An advanced diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a reputable institution.
• A certificate in basic supervisory management is an added advantage.
Experience:
• A minimum of three (3) years hands on experience as a mechanical technician or fitter machinist on the factory floor
• Age: 30 Years and above

Job Education: advanced diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Job Experience: three (3) years
