JOB DETAILS:

Key Result Areas:
1. Carry out preventive mechanical repairs on company vehicles as assigned.
2. Service vehicles following a schedule set by the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.
3. Diagnosing & carrying out corrective maintenance on company vehicles.
4. Advice Fleet Maintenance Supervisor on required spare parts.
5. Keep mechanical tools and equipment allocated under safe custody.
6. Adhere to company’s SOP on quality and safety all the time.
7. Any other duties assigned by the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

The position reports to the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.

Educational Qualifications & Experience
1. A diploma in Auto Mechanics or an equivalent is desirable.
2. 3 years of relevant experience is required

Skills & Professional Attributes
1. Ability to work independently in carrying out assignments to completion.
2. Effective Verbal and written communication.
3. Professional personal presentation.
4. Customer service orientation skills.
5. Considerable ability to adhere to prescribed routines and practices; and compose effective and accurate correspondence.
6. Dealing with non-routine matters, such as special projects, with minimum specific instructions. Decision making skills is required.
