GENERAL OBJECTIVES

• Offer members credit services and other financial products as may he required by members from time to time 
• Provide members with credit facilities for purposes of improving land access rights and development 
• Provide an opportunity for members to improve their respective economic, social and financial conditions by encouraging voluntary saving 
• Provide loan services at cost allowing the Society to cover its costs including legal reserves, reserves tor loans and other required reserves. 
• Facilitate members to set up development and SME projects through continuous training programs on the proper use of credit 
• Professionally manage the SACCO to ensure operational and financial sustainability. 

POSITION 1: BRANCH MANAGER
The Branch Manager will be responsible for all branch operations. He/she will report to the General Manager and shall supervise all branch staff.
Branch Manager responsibilities include.
Managing all Accounting, Administrative and Credit Operations of the branch including Policy Evaluation, implementation and Monitoring.

• Supervising and coordinating all subordinate responsibilities, including discipline achieves performance targets periodically 
• Ensuring that all reports are dispatched on time 
• Supervising the loans appraisal process and monitor all loan repayments. 
• Coordinating all Public Relations (PR) requirements for the branch in liaison with the General Manager. 
• Maintaining proper security over the office and all company documents, furniture and equipment, and ensure that security measures are put in place. 

MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors‘ degree from licensed Institutions of higher learning with good grades in Accounting, Business Studies, Marketing, Social Science or Education.
Candidates should have at least 3 years’ working experience in Banking and Credit Administration in a similar position.
Candidates must be knowledgeable in computer applications especially MS Excel
Professional qualification in microfinance will be an added advantage.
